Costs

Two bills arrive. Ours is a fixed monthly amount for the platform. Meta's is per message you start. We put no markup on what Meta charges.

CategoryPer messageUsed for
Marketing€ 0.1323Promotions, offers, newsletters
Utility€ 0.0414Confirmations, status updates, reminders tied to a transaction
Authentication€ 0.0414Verification and login codes
Service€ 0.0414 after the first 1,000Replies inside the 24-hour window, per number per month

Who invoices what

Meta settles directly with you, through the payment method attached to your WhatsApp Business account. That money never passes through us. We invoice the subscription and nothing else.

This isn't a choice on our part: as a Meta Tech Provider we have no credit line to share. The practical upshot is that there's no room for a markup on your message costs.

What sets the category

The rate follows your template's category, and Meta fixes that at approval. You propose one, Meta can change it. A confirmation carrying an offer becomes marketing.

Replies inside the 24-hour window count as service. The first 1,000 per phone number per month are free, so two numbers means two lots of 1,000.

What changes on October 1, 2026

Service messages used to be free without limit. From October 1, 2026 the first 1,000 per phone number per month are free and everything after that costs the same as a utility message.

More urgent: a payment method has to be attached to your WhatsApp Business account before September 30, 2026. Without one, Meta stops delivering your service messages after that date, including the free ones. Setting it up takes a few minutes in your own Meta Business account.

About these amounts: these are Meta's Dutch rates, excluding VAT. Meta can change them and publishes the current list itself. A worked example for a full month sits on our page about WhatsApp Business API costs.
